My passion for philosophy inspired me to open my house in Malta to writers, philosophers, academics and others who want a special weekend away from the routines of life and to meet others who share the same passion for philosophy, politics, art and literature.

I believe philosophy can help in everyday life because philosophical thinking increases mind transparency, stimulates a deeper understanding of life, and is an important instrument for improving our approach to difficult or painful situations. Philosophy doesn’t have all the answers, but it helps us to concentrate and be aware and present with ourselves.

Philosophy teaches us to embrace the connections and contradictions inherent in life and in our minds. Reading philosophy and other writers is an essential instrument to help move our thoughts away from life’s routines and distractions toward a self-consciousness of our thoughts and feelings.

The Philosophy Weekend in Malta is the opportunity to discover and discuss different points of view through philosophical practice, discourse, and individual perspectives.
